Awit ng Paghahangad (For Strings)

Awit ng Paghahangad is a Tagalog Christian song written by Charlie Cenzon SJ. When I first heard this song, I was blown away. Ever since, I just knew that I had to hear this in strings. I spent a day or two drafting the entire song and spent the rest finessing the smaller details. What I thought was missing was a key change to really amplify the spirit of the chorus. I also wanted the song to be very sweet and reflective towards the end, which I hope to have relayed.

This song is commissioned by Charmagne Ocdao. The sheet music for the song is available for reading and perusal, but performances are only permitted with the composer's explicit permission.
