ipinagkaloob ng

hanging walang patawad

agad man ang paglipas

ng panahong mahinay

ang kariktan mong tunay

ay hindi kukupas sa

alaala ng aking

taimtim na isipan

kahit mabilis lamang

ang ating pagtatagpo.

flower of the morning

granted by

remorseless wind

though swift is the passing

of your gentle moment

your ineffable beauty

will not fade from

the memory of my

sincere devotion

even if our rendezvous

is serendipitous.
