water.

i kiss your eyes like water meets water
pieces of nature from two ends of this world
coming together in rain. the grey darkness
is illumined by our meeting: the falling and
the rising, colliding like pins in a tornado
picking up the neighbourhood. but we smell like
vanilla pages glued to the spine: we are
paragraphs stitched by a book: we are
one after the other; not chasing like a pulley
no, we are the coin that drops from the roof:
two faces joined by one side, discovering each other
at the ridges of our circumference, fingers intertwined
as naturally as water meets water.
