Worldbuilding

The worlds of the isthmus of my upcoming novel is filled to the brim with many cultures, races, religions, languages and histories. Governments rise and wane in power, empires come and go. In this world, no one - not even kings, priests or generals - is ever safe.

Kingdoms

The isthmus is littered with kingdoms vying for power, control and dominance. An innocent mistake among royals could result in all-out war.

Religions

Religion is the most important thing to the people, regardless of race or kingdom. The Gods hold the truth. Why else would the temples be erected?

Cultures

The nations are filled with people of all races and species, living harmoniously among each other.

Languages

With people comes their own sets of languages. It is an important part of their culture and communication with each other.

Monsters and Deities

Though the world is beautiful, it comes with a price. Monsters crawl from all realms beyond our own.

History

The isthmus has been here longer than we thought. Since the arrival of men from the south, there have been five main epochs in time.
